Get The Most Out Of Your Equipment

Bepex is here to help you in every aspect of how you use our equipment.

That means we provide a wide range of services, including in-depth training seminars and on-site work for our systems.

We actively service and support machines built under our brand names, including Bepex, Rietz Manufacturing, Strong-Scott Equipment, and Komarek-Greaves. We also service and support certain Hosokawa-Bepex machines.

Does your equipment have a nameplate from someone other than Bepex?

No problem. We routinely maintain and optimize equipment by other OEM’s when they are slow to respond or when it’s just not working right.

Unsure if your machine is one that we support?

Give us a call and our parts and service group will help.

What Sets Bepex Apart?

Fully Customized Systems And Equipment

When you have a need that goes beyond just the equipment, we’re your first call. Bepex can design and build customized systems to suit exactly what you need. Our own portfolio of over 21 proprietary equipment designs spanning multiple processes has provided a strong foundational understanding of complete process systems.

Process Problem Solving

We’re the only ones able to solve many of our customers’ problems when it comes to system design.

Often, we’re approached with customers who need to make a unique product with precise specifications out of their raw material, but they don’t know how to do it or if it’s even possible. We find out if it’s possible, figure out how to do it, and send them the system that will get the job done.

Comprehensive, Ongoing Support

We don’t just design and build processing equipment and systems. We’ll help you start using your Bepex system and provide the parts, training, and maintenance information to make sure you get as much use out of it as possible.

Services We Offer

Mechanical & Operational Training

Our training programs suit any scenario, whether you are starting up equipment, bringing on new operators or mechanics, or you are simply looking for a refresher course.

Our mechanical training seminars give you a look into common maintenance practices, recommended maintenance schedules, assembly and disassembly instruction, and troubleshooting recommendations. Your maintenance team will gain a foundational understanding of the operating principles and how mechanical condition relates to and is impacted by these principles. Each seminar is specifically geared to your unique set of Bepex equipment.

Operational training is designed in much the same way as mechanical training, but extends our focus to upstream and downstream processes. Our process engineers will walk through common process troubleshooting tips, key operating parameters, and metrics to observe. Our goal is to provide a deeper understanding of the system, upstream and downstream variables, operational variables, and the resulting effects.

On-Site Mechanical Optimization

Often tied to our Mechanical & Operational Training program, our trained field service group will come to your facility and begin with an inspection of your Bepex equipment. These inspections often include the installed equipment, installation environment, maintenance schedule and practices, and any other variable that may impact reliability. Our visit will typically be preceded by a review and discussion around your current practices, consumed parts, and typical life span of your components.

With this information, our field service group will provide a detailed improvement plan aimed at increasing uptime performance and minimizing unplanned downtime.

On-Site Process Optimization

Our experienced application engineers will come to your facility and begin diagnosing potential struggles with your process.

Typical points our team reviews are upstream and downstream processes, consistency, and method in which material is delivered to your Bepex processing system, process metrics that are recorded or monitored, controls logic (if any), overall process flow, system feed, product quality, consistency, and throughput, including material discharge and transfer.

Whether you have lost production capacity or quality, are changing feed or product specifications, or are looking to try and maximize throughput, our engineers will provide a plan for improvement.

Following the visit, you will receive a report detailing the process, offering suggestions for our own system as well as upstream and downstream operations.

Inspection & Rebuilds

The Bepex OEM rebuild and reconditioning program provides the chance to hit the reset button, both literally and figuratively. This means you can further increase the life of your process equipment, enhancing reliability and operational uptime all to our specifications and quality standards.

Our equipment inspection and rebuild program is designed to be flexible, meaning each Return Material Authorization (RMA) is unique and customized to your needs. While we manufacture and sell many types of machines, no two are the same.

This program is not designed only for large assemblies. Bepex receives, inspects, and reconditions small components or individual parts, such as grinding hammers, rotor assemblies, and other common wear materials. This ultimately saves you money, as we will rebuild or recondition only as needed back to specification, reducing the need to buy unnecessary replacement parts.

If your equipment is starting to show its age, if you’ve lost production quality or consistency, or if you simply know you’re due for a rebuild, contact us now to set up your RMA and get your Bepex products back to OEM specified quality.

Mechanical & Operational Training

Mechanical equipment fails. Bearings seize. Seals crack. These are the facts of life in the process equipment industry. No matter how many safeguards are in place, at some point you will experience unexpected downtime due to mechanical failure.

On your call, our field service team is ready to jump on the first plane and be at your facility ASAP. You can rely on Bepex to help get you back up and running, all while assessing the mode of failure so we can work to prevent further downtime in the future.

These are just a few of the service and repair we commonly perform. This list is non-comprehensive.

  • Roll assembly replacement for counter-rotating roll presses
  • Routine rotor removal and inspections of Solidaire or TorusDisc paddle dryers
  • Installation of new parts or full rebuilds on Rietz Disintegrators, including models RP/RA, RD, and RI
  • Rotor and bearing replacements on the Rietz Extructor & Extrud-o-Mix
  • OEM inspections on any Bepex branded equipment, including Komarek-Greaves, Strong Scott, and Rietz Manufacturing products
