Maintenance Fabricator
Minneapolis, MN, USA
Summary:
Responsible for equipment maintenance whichincludes the safe and functional operation of all Process Development Centerequipment. Fabricate/modify new and existing equipment. This role supports theProcess Development Center, office facilities and Field Service whenmaintenance is required.

Reports To: Director of Aftermarket and Facility Services
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate/modify existing equipment as required. Operate all types of machine shop equipment including but not limited to mills,lathes, brakes, roll, cut-off saws, TIG welder, MIG welder, and arc welder.
- Responsible for the safe and functional operationof all equipment. Make repairs/replacement of unsafe equipment a priority overall other responsibilities. Work closely with Safety Committee to be aware ofany necessary repair/replacement.
- Assist with planned maintenance schedules for Process Development Center equipment and facility.
- Assist the PDC with assembly or modification of new equipment or parts.
- Ready rental and show equipment for use and ensure it is in proper safe operating condition.
- Provide help as needed to Maintenance Mechanics and maintain Process Development Center and office facility including boiler, heating, and air-conditioning systems.
- Act as back-up for Process Development CenterTechnicians when needed.
- Log and maintain hours on assigned projects.
- Position may require occasional travel to assist our Field Service department.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements
- Ability for domestic and international travel up to 20% of the time.
- Availability to work overtime and during weekends depending on the projects assigned.
- Must be familiar with tools of all kinds and be knowledgeable in their safe use.
- Manual dexterity for handling intricate and complicated equipment and hardware.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to reach, bend, squat, lift, pull and push while inspecting and repairing machinery.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree preferred.
- State of MN Specialist, or higher, boilers license is preferred but can be obtained post-hire.
Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in relatable maintenance/mechanic/fabricator position.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines; capacity to manage priorities and expectations.
- Millwright, welding, or electrical (PLC/HMI) training/experience preferred but not required.
- Good mechanical aptitude and experience.
- Ability to read fabrication and manufacturers prints.
- Basic computer skills including Outlook (email) and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
- Experience working with internal and external customers, consultants, and suppliers.
- Effective communication skills including both written & verbal.

Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Conduct the shipping and receiving of sales orders, supplies, materials and related items. Shipping and receiving of hazardous materials is required.
- Load and unload trucks at the Warehouse and the Process Development Center.
- Develop and maintain transportation plans to maximize delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Schedule external logistics with freight companies, vendors, and customers via phone and email.
- Maintain a 99% shipping accuracy.
- Process all sales orders through the ERP 10 (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
- Interact with freight vendors and the Accounts Payable Department regarding billing discrepancies.
- Assist in accurate receiving, inspection, quality documentation and transactions as required.
- Develop and maintain export packing plans that are within budget and meet customer expectations.
- Assist in the labeling and maintaining of the Process Development Center basement storage of incoming and outgoing test materials, and stocking of supplies needed for shipping and receiving.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving functions within the Process Development Center.
- Report damaged goods and material shortage to the Warehouse Manager, ProcessDevelopment Manager or Process Development Engineers.
- Assist in the material handling responsibilities within the Process Development Center.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing scheduled ship dates.
- Prepare export documents for international shipments such as: Commercial Invoice, COO, etc
- Custom build crates to fit machines and parts.
- Pack parts and machines for shipping using appropriate packaging such as: crates, boxes, etc.
- Manage and order shipping supplies such as: lumber, boxes, packing material, etc.
- Log and scan files for both shipping and receiving activities into the database and network daily.
- Schedule transfers of parts and equipment to and from the Warehouse as needed.
- Deliver small packages to the designated recipients.
- Maintain clean shipping and receiving areas, and personal workstation.
- Minimal supervision and work direction.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all federal,state, and local employment laws including maintaining employee records andhandling compliance audits.
