Heating & Cooling Processes
Multi-phase thermal systems sometimes require complementary steps prior to or following the primary operation. In solid-state polymerization of polyester, a pre-heater brings the crystallized pellets to final reaction temperature prior to the polymerization step. Following this step, material needs to be cooled to facilitate storage and packaging. In other reaction-based processes, we may utilize a cooling device to immediately halt a thermal reaction, to avoid any negative effect of over-reaction while returning material to a stable temperature. Our cooling operations vary across direct and indirect thermal, utilizing either chilled air or gas in direct thermal cooling, or a chilled jacketed vessel in indirect thermal cooling. Each product comes with its own advantages, providing a range of benefits depending on your exact process.
