Clay minerals, like any other mineral, carries a broad set of benefits in applications where it is used. From building materials and pottery to drilling fluids and cat litter, clay has seen a broad implementation. Our experience within the clay industry has largely been focused on the production of bentonite and kaolin clay, and talc. Bentonite has excellent absorption properties making it a fitting base material for use in production of drilling fluids and other absorbent materials such as cat litter and oil absorbents. Industrial talc serves widely as a filler in paper and plastics given it is hydrophobic and chemically inert.
