Grinding Ahead of Pressing
Early in the process, once the husk is removed and water drained, the coconut meat is ground in an RP Disintegrator, an angled hammer mill that grinds the meat ahead of pressing to improve pressing efficient.
Extraction
The ground coconut kernel discharges from the RP Disintegrator directly into the inlet of the Bepex Screw Press. Our Screw Press is designed for efficient separation of liquids from solids, providing three internal separation zones for precise control.
Copra Processing
Copra is the dried meat of the coconut used to extract coconut oil. Our RD Disintegrator has long been relied on to grind the copra ahead of expelling, providing consistently sized particles to the expeller for more efficient oil extraction.
