MS SERIES ROLL COMPACTORS
Bepex International Roll Compactors transform fine solid materials into hard, dense sheets or briquettes. These densified pieces may be crushed by the roll compactor to obtain a granular product of a certain size or may be accepted as final product.
Roll Compactor machines are designed specially to match the requirements of a particular project. Example include sanitary designs for food processing and gas tight designs for hazardous or oxygen sensitive material. Materials of construction range from carbon steel in industrial application to exotic metals for highly corrosive materials.
Bepex International engineers design complete compaction and granulation systems, insuring the customer a consistent delivery of on-spec granular product.
Granulation of materials result in products that are free flowing, dust free resistant to breakdown and consistent in size and density.

This is a diagram of a typical compaction / granulation system. The top of the picture shows a premixed feed being fed into the Compactor. The compactor will form a sheet of densified product. This sheet falls into a flake breaker to be crushed into large pieces. During this granulation process, these pieces are conveyed to a secondary crusher for sizing. The crushed product drops onto a screener separating the on size product from fines and overs. The overs are sent to another crushing step, and screened again. The fines are recycled back to the compactor.
Typical Applications of a Roll Compaction / Granulation System
- Fertilizers
- Clays
- Gypsum
- Toners/pigments
- Water treatment chemicals
- Food Products
- Feed supplements
- Polymers
- Ultra-low density fillers
