EXTRUCTOR®
 The
Extructor® is designed for crushing and grinding large frozen
blocks or barrels of bulk materials. While processing frozen blocks,
the slow speed high torque rotor crushes and fractures the blocks
whereas a tearing action is incorporated with pliable products.
The cantilevered shaft design of this size reduction equipment utilizes isolated bearings and drive
components to prevent product contamination and make the Extructor®
ideal for food applications.
The horizontal rotor assembly incorporates hammer elements with
a progressive hook-like profile which draws material into the Extructor®
body and conveys it towards the discharge/sizing plate. During conveyance,
product is ground between the rotor and the close clearance stationary
anvils.
